CONFERENCE PURPOSE
Have you ever been cautiously curious about the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer? Ever wondered why as Christians we hear a lot about the Father and the Son but are left to wonder about the role that the Holy Spirit plays in our lives? Join us as we examine how the convergence of God’s Word and God’s Spirit significantly impact our walk and relationship with Christ. This conference seeks to bring clarity to what it means to “walk in the Spirit” (Gal. 5:25).
Best-selling author Jack Deere and speaker Michael Miller will explain the nature of the Holy Spirit while offering practical advice, rooted in scripture, on discovering and using His gifts in our daily church and our daily lives. They will show how doing so is part of God’s way of deepening our friendship with Him; how we can know the goodness of God through the power of His Spirit. Conference participants will be challenged, equipped, and encouraged. Whether you are cautiously curious or expectant, come explore how God wants to move for you and through you.
FEATURED SPEAKERS
Jack Deere

When Jack Deere turned seventeen, he did not know God or a single verse of Scripture. At twenty-seven, he became a professor of Old Testament Exegesis and Semitic Languages at Dallas Theological Seminary. He started and pastored an influential church in Ft. Worth, Texas where he taught that God no longer gave the "miraculous gifts of the Spirit."
After teaching seminary for ten years, Deere was shocked when a bestselling author he respected told Deere that he not only believed God was regularly healing people today, but that he had seen undeniable miracles in answer to his prayers. For the next four months, Deere studied every healing story in the New Testament, completely at home in the original languages of the Bible. At the end of those four months, Deere was convinced, against his will, that God was still healing and speaking just as he had done in the New Testament.
Since then, Deere and his wife Leesa have seen God’s goodness on display in remarkable ways. As a result, Deere now writes, teaches, and ministers around the world to help his listeners understand the depth of friendship God offers them.
Jack is the author of Why I am Still Surprised by the Power of the Sprit, Surprised by the Voice of God, and Even in Our Darkness.
Michael Miller
After graduating from Texas A&M Miller worked for a para-church ministry called Young Life. It was during that time that he developed a friendship with Professor Jack Deere. Miller then went to work for Deere at Wellspring Church in North Richland Hills, Texas, where he ran the healing ministry and traveled with Jack to minister to varying churches.
Michael Miller currently pastors at Reclamation Church, a church plant in Denver CO, co-hosts a lively theology podcast: The Remnant Radio, and regularly speaks, trains, and ministers in churches both locally and abroad.
